pickedby.ai is a free platform that measures how visible your product is to AI assistants (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini). Enter your product name and get an AI Visibility Score from 0 to 100 in ~10 seconds. No sign-up required for basic checks.

## What it is

pickedby.ai is the Google Stack for the AI recommendation era — built for any product, brand, or business that wants to be recommended by AI.

- **Phase 1 — MEASURE (Search Console):** AI Visibility Score + Direct AI Probe. Available now.
- **Phase 2 — ANALYZE (Analytics):** AI traffic tracking, weekly score trends, recommendation analytics. Coming Q3 2026.
- **Phase 3 — OPTIMIZE (Ads Platform):** Placement optimization for AI-first search. 2027.

## Core product: AI Visibility Score (0–100)

Measures five dimensions of AI discoverability:

1. **Recognition** — Does AI know your product exists by name?
2. **Recommendation** — Would AI recommend your product as a top solution?
3. **Category Ranking** — Does your product appear in "best of" AI responses?
4. **Reviews & Mentions** — Does your product have third-party mentions AI can cite?
5. **Comparison Signals** — Does your product appear in "alternatives to" comparisons?

## Direct AI Probe (Phase 1 flagship feature)

pickedby.ai sends real queries to Perplexity, ChatGPT, and Gemini to measure whether each AI recommends your product. Results are logged as probe_logs and contribute to your Probe Score — a more accurate signal than web crawl alone.

- **✓ Recommended** — AI explicitly named your product in response
- **◎ Known** — AI recognizes your product but did not recommend it
- **✗ Unknown** — AI has no record of your product

Probe Score replaces the raw score when 3 or more probes have been completed (probe_count ≥ 3).

## Score tiers and badges

- **0–24: Invisible** — AI has no idea your product exists
- **25–49: Noticed** — AI is vaguely aware but rarely recommends
- **50–74: Seen** — AI recognizes you and sometimes recommends
- **75–100: Picked** — AI consistently recommends your product

- ~ **NOTICED BY AI** (25–49)

2. Create a dedicated product page with your exact product name in H1, title tag, and meta description
3. Submit to Product Hunt, G2, Capterra, AlternativeTo, AppSumo
4. Get public reviews on Reddit, Product Hunt, and G2 mentioning your product by name
5. Create "Your Product vs [Competitor]" comparison articles
6. Add schema.org `SoftwareApplication` or `Product` markup to your site
7. Publish an `about.md` or public documentation AI can cite
